Missions Statement
When the Great Commission to the church was given by our Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18-20, it was obvious that His plan was for the gospel to be proclaimed throughout the entire world. When the early church evangelized, local congregations were organized and churches became the framework through which God executed His plan. The plan today has not varied and still remains the means by which our Lord continues to reach the lost both at home and abroad.
After two thousand years the mandate remains the same: Therefore we are committed to following the Lord’s plan!
- Go teach all nations the Gospel.
- Go baptize those who have believed the Gospel.
- Go teach them all things He has commanded us in the Gospel.
We must not ignore and cannot ignore this call. To do so is a departure from sound biblical teaching and a fall into apostasy.
Approximately 85 people go to Hell every minute, what are you doing to help prevent this?
Mission quotes:
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay. If hell must be filled, at least let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.” Charles Spurgeon
